Ethiopian International defender Walid Atta has joined the Walia Ibex training camp ahead of their crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles over the weekend.

Walid Atta who plies his trade for Turkish club Genclerbirligi is buoyant Ethiopia will emerge victorious as he heaped praise on coach Yohannes Sahle record since taking over.

“I am happy to be going back to Ethiopia to join my team mates its always a wonderful moment playing for your national team.I am happy with my current form and I would like to give mt country all my best against Seychelles ”

Walid Atta first played for Ethiopia in 2014 after he was called up by then coach Mariano Barreto playing crucial role in their away win over Mali in the 2015 Afcon qualifier after many years leaving in Sweden.

Walid Atta is one of the foreign based players that include captain Salhadin Said,Umed Ukuri and Getaneh Kebede that will play key roles against Seychelles .
