By Admin,

Ethiopian International midfilder Addis Hintsa’s move to Sudan’s Al Ahly Shendi three years ago was heralded as a stepping stone to greater in the star player’s career.

However Hintsa who had a golden year in 2012 while playing for Dedebit seems to be casting his eyes somewhere else as things don’t look rosy in the Sudanese league.

A close confidant of Hintsa who spoke to Soka25east alluded to the fact that the player was not happy and is seeking a move out of the club “I can confirm Addis is looking for another club since he is not happy in Sudan. This have not been good as he rarely gets playing time and yet he wants his career to progress. We are talking to clubs in South Africa and Middle East to see any possibilities’ the source who sort anonymity said.

Addis Hintsa has proved his quality by dominating the midfield in most of the matches in SPL. The former striker is a brilliant player, a physical beast with good technical quality, he is a tough tackler but at the same time he can stride forward and play the ball. Addis is relatively a complete central midfielder, can tackle, defend, and is good in the air. That’s why he was awarded Player of the season award in 2011/12 by Passion Sport magazine award.

International career

Addis has been part of the Ethiopian national team since 2012 and was a key player in the 2013 Africa cup of Nations hosted by South Africa. He was brilliant in their last game against Nigeria coming in as a goalkeeper after Sisay Bancha was red carded missing Victor Moses penalty by.
