Former Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards defender Eric Masika has found a new home in Uganda with top league side Express FC.

Masika who was among 17 players dropped by Leopards’ Coach Ivan Minnaert in June was unveiled today during the team’s morning training session at Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium.

In attendance was among others, Express chairperson Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi.

The 29 years old was a household name while at Gor Mahia, and was among the fans favourites, however his forced move to childhood club AFC Leopards in 2012 saw his form dip as he failed to impose himself in the squad eventually being dropped in June.
