Congolese defender Marcel Kalonda is staying at Kabwe Warriors football club despite interest from Power Dynamos.

Club Chairman Hyden Dinghall tells soka25east.com in an exclusive interview that the player is not for sale at any price.

“We received a letter from Power Dynamos requesting for the  services of Marcel but the club’s position is that the player is not for sale and will be staying at Warriors,” said Dinghall

Kalonda has been in terrific form for Warriors this season and his performances has attracted interest from top clubs in the country but Dinghall was quick to dispel any possible transfer of their prized asset to a local rival.

“The player is under contract with the club and we are not going to sell him to our local rival but should any offers come from abroad, then we will be interested to listen,” He said.
