Mufulira Wanderers Vs Nchanga Rangers
Shinde Stadium,
15:00hrs
Mufulira Wanderers are at home to Nchanga Rangers and this is a big game for Mufulira Wanderers unlike that of Nchanga Rangers. Mufulira Wanderers have no choice but to win this one and should they lose, I don’t want to start thinking of the mood at Shinde. But the visitor won’t make it easy for the home team and they would actually enjoy the win and possibly send the Mufulira outfit into relegation zone.
Things aren’t happening at Mufulira Wanderers and a win has alluded them for a very long time, the last results as follows:
Lost: Lusaka Tigers 2-0 Mufulira Wanderers
Draw: Mufulira Wanderers 0-0 Kabwe Warriors
Draw: Mufulira Blackpool 0-0 Mufulira Wanderers
Draw: Zesco United 1-1 Zesco United
Lost: Mufulira Wanderers 0-1 Green Eagles
Draw: Nkwazi 1-1 Mufulira Wanderers
Win: Mufulira Wanderers 1-0 Nakambala Leopards
With those statistics it showed the team has not managed to win a game in the second round of the MTN Super League and they have only managed to score two goals away at Zesco United and away at Nkwazi.

There is so much pressure on the technical bench which is not good for the team and this may just be advantage Nchanga Rangers.

MY VERDICT: Mufulira Wanderers 1-2 Nchanga Rangers

Nkana Vs ZANACO
Nkana Stadium
15:00hrs
Definitely the game of the week for me and a must win game for both. A win for ZANACO will once again send shivers to the chasing pack and a thin line of error is not being expected for ZANANCO this time around. It will be a big shock to think that ZANACO can actually lose this title to their recent history of finishing the season poorly. They look good and goals are coming from all departments of the pitch.

They are away to Nkana second on the log and a win for Nkana will cut the difference to five points. The last game between the two sides ended in a 2-0 victory for ZANANCO at Heroes Stadium but I the last 14 games, ZANACO has 6 wins, 4 draws and Nkana has 4 wins.
The rate at which ZANACO is playing its very difficult they think they can lose this one but Nkana all of sudden have hit good form that is looking like the way they started season. I still think Sate Sate needs to be told that he is back in Zambia and this is the Super League and he should just relax and play football as we know him. The combination of Sate Sate and Walter isn’t working well and should it tick, then Nkana will be a good team. But it’s too early to ask for the victory for Nkana in this encounter.

MY VERDICT: Nkana 1-1 ZANACO.

Green Buffaloes Vs Lusaka Dynamos
Independence Stadium
15:00hrs
Green Buffaloes are fourth ceremoniously because ZESCO United will definitely get into to three and push GBFC down. They face a Lusaka Dynamos in the relegation zone with the fight of getting off that zone should lucky be on their side.
There is seriously a problem with GBFC and the team has lost the momentum they had at the beginning of the season. There is more of individual play than team work and that is affecting the performance of the team. I don’t think Lusaka Dynamos can either win this encounter but they are better than GBFC going forward and Kennedy Musonda will once again be a menace in the defence of Green Buffaloes. AM struggling to see where the goals for GBFC will come from and hence go for a 0-0 draw.

MY VERDICT: Green Buffaloes 0-0 Lusaka Dynamos

Red Arrows Vs Nkwazi FC
Nkoloma Stadium
15:00hrs
This fixture is very difficult fixture to analyze because often no football pundit gets this fixture right in many different times. There is never an outright winner before the game is played and the team that under rates the other ends up losing. Red Arrows need to ease the relation troubles by breaking into the 30 point mark with a win in this encounter while Nkwazi will walk on the pitch for the forest time without Chikwanda Elijah after a long time. A win for Nkwazi will equal the points with Red Arrows and Nkwazi will leapfrog the AIR Men due to the better goal difference.
The last 13 games between the two teams show 3 2ins for Nkwazi, 6 draws and 4 wins for Red Arrows. I just think this will be another draw.

MY VERDICT: Red Arrows 1-1 Nkwazi

Lumwana Radiants vs Kabwe Warriors
Lumwana Grounds
15:00hrs
Lumwana has now lost two encounters at home to ZANACO and Green Eagles respectively and they have a serious trouble of losing a third of they don’t get their game right. Whatever has happened at Lumwana only the technical bench and players can tell but with the way things are going Lumwana Radiants should be relegated.
They are welcoming sixth positioned Kabwe Warriors who have won 9 games, drawn 7 and lost 7. Kabwe Warriors have scored 21 goals and allowed 18. Compared to the record of Lumwana Radiants with 5 wins, 8 draws and 9 losses. This is a big game and a winner should celebrate.

MY VEDRCIT: Lumwana Radiants 2-2 Kabwe Warriors
******************************
NAPSA Stars Vs Mufulira Blackpool
Woodland Stadium
15:00hrs
A battle for relegation as both teams lie in the relegation battles but things are looking relatively difficult for Mufulira Blackpool. The only think they are now fighting for is not to end the season without a win. But NAPSA is just proving to be a real pain to most of the teams and I see another loss for Mufulira Blackpool in this encounter.
Mufulira Blackpool is not ignoring for now and they first of all need to have self-belief as they play these games. There is seriously something messing in their game. NAPSA will win this encounter and should that be real and Lumwana Radiants lose to Kabwe Warriors then NAPSA will get off the relegation zone and send Lumwana Radiants into the relegation zone.

MY VERDICT: NAPSA 2-0 Mufulira Blackpool
*****************************
Nakambala Leopards Vs Lusaka Tigers
Nakambala Stadium
15:00hrs
Nakambala Leopards is one of the few teams that beat Lusaka Tigers at Independence Stadium this season and another defeat will mean they would have managed a double against Tigers. I think they will do it but Tigers have their own to fight for in this encounter. They beat Nakambala and NAPSA as well as Lusaka Dynamos and then Lusaka Tigers would have a chance to get off the relegation zone but they need a good score line to leapfrog Lumwana Radiants. They will remain in the relegation zone.

MY VERDICT: Nakambala Leopards 2-0 Lusaka Tigers

Forest Rangers Vs Power Dynamos
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
13:00hrs
Forest Rangers got the first win in a long while against Red Arrows last weekend with a 2-1 victory coming from behind to score two spot kicks by Felix Nyaenda. They welcome Power Dynamos at Levy Mwanawasa with Power Dynamos also coming from an emphatic win against Lusaka Dynamos.
This will be another big game and it’s not a walk in path for Power Dynamos who lost their last league game at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to ZESCO United 4-0. A win for Power Dynamos will move then to appoint against Nkana who have another big fixture against ZANACO at Nkana stadium. They don’t seem threatened with the third position from the chasing pack.
Forest Rangers need a win to stay clear of relegation threatened teams in Nchanga Rangers, Nkwazi, Mufulira Wanderers and Green Eagles. A win of either these teams or a loss by Forest Rangers would make Forest Rangers in danger of relegation.

In the last 17 games between these teams Power Dynamos have 7 wins and we have had 8 draws with 2 victories for Forest Rangers. Power Dynamos beat Forest Rangers 3-0 in round one of this season. The last time Power lost to Forest Rangers was in the 2015 season when they lost 1-0. The other famous win was the 2011 victory at Arthur Davies Stadium
Power Dynamos have not convinced me after the departure of Fwayo and I think Forest can take advantage and get a point from this fixture.

Forest Rangers 1-1 Power Dynamos

Zesco United Vs Green Eagles
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
15:00hrs
Zesco United are through to the semifinals of the CAF Champions League and will play Sundown in a very big anticipated encounter. But that will have to wait as ZESCO United comes back to start the campaign for the chase of the defence of the title and they host Green Eagles in Week 24. Green Eagles have had good results recently and they will relish playing the defending champions. It would also be interesting to see how Satchmo Chakawa play against a team he almost joined. He is one of my best goal keepers in Zambia currently and if he to maintain his fitness levels, we won’t see Chakawa for long at Green Eagles.
This will be a tough one for Green Eagles and am only seeing one winner because even the head to head form the last 11 games shows 7 wins for ZESCO, two draws and 2 wins for Green Eagles The last win for Green Eagles against Zesco was a 3-1 beating in 2014 and that game on 17th May 2014. .

MY VERDICT: ZESCO United 2-0 Green Eagles
