Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Sudan have all moved up the latest FIFA monthly ranking released Thursday.

CHAN 2018 qualifiers Sudan are the biggest movers – rising twelve places to position 124th while Ethiopia has gone up six steps to 137th.

Tanzania and Kenya have each moved up one step to 146th and 105th respectively.

Uganda, who remains the best ranked nation in the region, has improved two positions to 73rd. The Cranes are also taking part in the CHAN 2018 in Morocco.

Rwanda, another CHAN 2018 qualifier has dropped three places to 116th in the global ranking while Burundi has lost one position to 143rd.
