Football Kenya Federation’s Independent Disciplinary Appeals Committee (IDAC) has upheld Kenyan Premier League Independent Disciplinary and Complaints Committee (IDCC)’s ruling to dock AFC leopards three points for crowd trouble.

The IDCC had earlier ruled that Leopards be deducted three points as punishment for crowd trouble caused by their fans in their league match against Ulinzi Stars at Mumias Sugar Sports Complex on April 23, before the club lodged an appeal against the decision.

The same fate befell Gor Mahia’s appeal last month. Like their arch rivals K’Ogalo were also charged for hooliganism during a league match against Tusker and docked three points; they have since moved to the Sports Tribunal in quest for justice.

The decision leaves Leopards two places above relegation danger zone with 17 points from 16 matches.

Gor have since recovered and are three points off leaders Tusker FC on 29 points.
