The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and their partners “Sportpesa” are sending two buses of about 100 fans to Jinja,Uganda to rally behind Harambee Starlets as they play Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro Queens in the final of the CECAFA Women’s Championship on Tuesday 20.

The buses which were flagged off at Nyayo stadium, Nairobi on Monday are expected to arrive in Jinja early morning Tuesday for the tie slated for FUFA Technical Grounds later that evening.

Africa women cup of nations (AWCON) bound Starlets, seen as firm favorites for the regional honors stormed into the final on Sunday 18 after edging hard fighting Ethiopia’s Lucy 3-2 in the semi-finals; the queens of Tanzania on the other hand were 4-1 winners over hosts Uganda on the same day.

Like their opponents of the day Kili Queens, Starlets are yet to taste defeat, with their biggest win being 11-0 obliteration of the tournament’s whipping girls Zanzibar at group phase.

Their superb outing has earned them support from across board and the choice to send fans to Jinja is to give them the final push in an operation dubbed “Bring it home” by the federation.

The third play-offs pitting Uganda’s Crested Cranes and Lucy will curtain the final showdown.
