FKF PL: Finlays withdraws from FKF Premier League citing Financial constraits

By John Nganga,

Football lovers from the South of lake Naivasha have been dealt a big blow following the withdrawal of Finlays horticulture from the ongoing FKF Premier League owing to financial problems.

The team has been struggling since late last season following the withdrawal of Finlays company as their main sponsor. “we have not been paid our allowances, the office told us that there was no money for us. We don’t know what next since some of us depend on football for the daily bread” said a group of players.

When reached for comments, the officials claimed they had not received the one million from FKF  that was agreed by the league officials before the start of the league.

Finlays becomes the second team from the lake side to  break up the team after their neighbours karuturi sports broke theirs early last year. The team was at position 15 with 15 points after 18 matches.
