FKF PL:Homeboyz cement top position after walkover

By Austin Oduor Otieno,

Kakamega Homeboyz benefited from three unlikely points and two goals from Finlays Horticulture’s failure to honour their Sunday 31st March at the Bukhungu Stadium.

This means Homeboyz maintain the top position with 30 points same as Zoo Kericho who got maximum ponts away by beating hosts MOSCA 0-2 at the Safaricom Kasarani Stadium.

FC Talanta recorded the third win in the season when they beat visiting St. Josephs of Nakuru 1-0 with the lone goal scored by Mohammed Suleiman in the 32nd minute.

Despite the win,FC Talanta are still rooted at the bottom of the 18 team league with 11 points from 14 matches, same as cash stripped Finlays but with an inferior goal difference.

Mike Madoya scored early in the 20th minute of the first half before Gilbert Ayieko scored the second in the 55th minute to hand Zoo the vital three points and keep Homeboyz on toes.

Posta Rangers are scheduled to play Shabana tomorrow but the results will not have any effect at the top of the FKF PL.
