FKF propose formation of Committee to oversee transition of League

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has proposed the formation of a five member Committee comprised of FKF Premier League chairmen to oversee the transition of the League governing body when the mandate of the Kenya Premier league Limited runs out in September.

The club chairmen who form the committee include: Dan Shikanda – AFC Leopards FC, Dan Aduda – Tusker FC, Robert Maoga – Kariobangi Sharks FC, Col Erick Oloo – Ulinzi Stars FC and Ken Ochieng – Zoo FC.

The meeting was attended by 17 FKF Premier league clubs. Sofapaka was the only club that was absent.

The FKF Chief Nick Mwendwa has been vocal about parting ways with KPL after its term expires, with the two bodies taking different stands in how the league should be run.

Meanwhile, Mwendwa shed more light on the BetKing Kenya – FKF Premier League title sponsorship deal.
