FKF/KPL join hands to draw a road map for a better working relationship

After a series of controversial public battles , the Football Kenya Federation and Kenyan Premier League on Monday  held a Joint Executive Committee held a meeting and resolved on the following issues:

1.To refer the composition of the 2015 KPL League to the technical task force constituted on 17th November 2014 whose members are;- Robert Asembo –Vice President FKF, Mr. Michael Esakwa – CEO/Secretary General –FKF, Mr. George Odhiambo – KPL, Mr. Jack Oguda –CEO/KPL.

The task force will table its recommendations to the Joint Executive Committee on Wednesday 21st January 2015.

2. FKF and KPL to generate a draft Agreement on the working relationships and our Partnership between both parties and present the same to the Joint Executive Committee on Wednesday 21st January 2015.

3. The task force will look into the financial implications on the 18 team league and present its report in the Joint Executive Committee meeting on Wednesday 21st January 2015.

According to both parties, the FKF/KPL Joint executive committee today was held in a cordial atmosphere with both parties committed in drawing a road map for a better working relationship.

The FKF/KPL JEC will meet on Wednesday 21st January 2015.
