Former Indomitable Lions player Omam-Biyik has launched a book entitled “Mon But”(My Goal) in a function held in downtown Younde in Cameroon.

The book talks about his dribbling skills, techniques and memorable downward header that gave Cameroon an historic 1-0 win over then World Champions Argentina during 1990 World Cup in Italy that left him etched in the minds of football lovers across Africa.

Omam-Biyik was  one of the most important players of the Cameroonian nation team players,playing at the three World Cups in 1990,1994 and 1998.

He had success with diffrent French clubs and at one time he played for Marseille in the summer of 1992 where he played one match before moving to Lens in October 1992.

His eariel ability led to the term ‘Omam-Biyik being used as a nickname for a headed goal.

The Indomitable Lions Star finished third in 1987 and 1991 African Footballer of the Year Award.

He retired from active football after the 1999/2000 season before moving to Colima in Mexico where he was head-coach of second division proffesional soccer team.
