Gor Mahia defender Harun Shakava and Western Stima’s Joash Onyango have earned late call ups to Kenya’s Harambee Stars camp preparing for two matches ahead.

The duo replace Chemelil Sugar FC youngster Joseph Okumu currently trying out with Premier Soccer League side Free States Stars in South Africa and Eugene Asike of Tusker who has been sidelined.

Stars’ home based professionals have been in camp since Monday, sharpening for Uganda Cranes international friendly on August 31 in Kampala, before playing the Chipolopolo of Zambia away in the last round of AFCON 2017 qualifiers.

Foreign based players including the captain Victor Wanyama of Tottenham Hotspur are expected to link up with the rest of the team days to the matches as allowed by FIFA.
