Gor Mahia to miss out on Walusimbi transfer cash after termination of contract by Kaizer Chiefs

Kenyan side Gor Mahia will miss out on a chance to cash in on close to R1.5 million equaivalent to $ 112,600 or ksh 11 million from Kaizer Chiefs after the Soweto giants terminated the contract of Ugandan International Godfrey Walusimbi.

Amakhosi announced  that have parted ways with Walusumbi after the Ugandan spent only six months at Naturena.

Gor Mahia were set to receive the second instalment of the transfer fee for the defender in January.

But according to a source close to the matter, Gor Mahia will not not receive any money due to the fact that the left back’s contract was terminated.

“The first instalment was paid late last year.The second instalment was due in January,” said the source.

“However the club in Kenya will now not receive anything after the player’s contract was terminated,” he added.
