Zambian striker Collins “King David” Mbesuma made history on saturday SAT, SEP 24, 2016 when he scored a penalty in Highlands Park 3-2 loss to Polokwane City.

The Zambian just became only the fifth player to hit 100 goals in the PSL and the first ever Zambian to reach this landmark. The others are Siyabonga Nomvethe, Mabuthi Khenyeza, Manuel Bucuane,Daniel Mudau.

Polokwane City secured their first victory of the season in this thrilling five-goal humdinger at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Rise and Shine opened the scoring through Bafana Bafana call-up Thobani Mncwango, before last season’s topscorer Collins Mbesuma netted his 100th PSL strike to draw Park level from the penalty spot just before the half-hour mark.

Sipho Jembula restored his side’s lead four minutes later, yet Charlton Mbesuma was on hand to net the equaliser with five minutes to go before the half-time whistle.

City took the lead for the third time as Jabu Maluluke netted his first goal of the season which proved to tbe the winner, as Luc Eymael’s men temporarily jump up to fifth in the satndings, while Park remain 12th.
