Harambee Starlets will gauge themselves against Morocco, Cameroon and Egypt before they depart for their first appearance at the Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) in November.

The warm-ups have been confirmed by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Chief Executive Officer Robert Muthomi.

The 2016 CECAFA Women’s Championship silver medallists will first take on Morocco on Saturday October 16,2016 then a week later on Saturday 22 welcome AWCON hosts Cameroon before playing Egypt on Friday 28.

The Kenyan queens are keen to compete and not just add numbers at the continental showpiece which starts on 19th November to 3rd December this year – and hence the need to prepare by playing build ups against top sides.

Kenya is in group “B” together with defending champions Nigeria, Ghana and Mali. They will open their campaign on November 20 against Ghana.
