Harambee Stars defender Musa Mohammed has joined Zambian Super League side Nkana FC on a two-year-deal.

The 24-year-old was a free agent after terminating his contract with Albania side KF Tirana in April.

He recently skippered the national team in the Hero International Cup where they finished runners-up to hosts India.

Before leaving for greener pastures in Albania early this year, Musa had spent his entire senior career with Kenya’s Gor Mahia – winning four KPL titles among other numerous titles.

Nickmaned Carnavaro after the Italy’s World Cup winning defender, Musa is a hardworking and composed defender, speedy, strong in the air and has good ball distribution skills.

He becomes the ninth Kenyan player to join the Zambia’s topflight and second to sign for the Reds after striker Jacob Kelly.
