The dark cloud continue to engulf the Homa Bay County top-two clubs playing division 2 central rift, former South Nyanza soccer giants Homa Bay Allstars, succumbed to tactical Kinangop Dairy sponsored Kinangop FC 1-3 in a match which was played at Homa Bay stadium.

The host scored an early goal to separate the two sides through former Chemelil trialist Javan Obodo in the 11th minutes. The celebration was short lived when the visitors creative midfielder Harrison Kamau scored two quick goals to put the team ahead before break. The match ended 3-1 in favour of the away team.

Away in Muhoroni, newcomers Muhoroni Young quick three goals send the hard fighting Shauri Yako FC back to the drawing board in an entertaining match at the sugarbelt’s yard. The Homa Bay side found themselves on the receiving end in a match which they claim to have lost due to absent of their regular starters due to injuries.

Speaking to Soka25east.com a fan whose identity disclosed said Homa Bay is full of talents but going by the turning of events this season’s, there’s need for them to have one strong side to compete at this level. He went further to lament on the state of Homa Bay stadium which is the training base for the two sides.
