As Nchanga Rangers piles pressure on the Air Force team

A devastated Honor Janza laid bare his disappointment and all but handed the initiative to Nchanga Rangers as he lost again, the fourth of the season already after nine round of games. Red Arrows blew a point sharing position for the fourth time this season already and remained the with the two wins and three draws accounting to 9 points.

Janza did not seem to have an explanation after his team drew 1-1 with Nkwazi and it will then be very difficult for him to find any explanation to this lose away to Nchanga Rangers.

After this defeat, Red Arrows is just one point above relegation and any other bad result against Green Eagles in their next fixture and Buildcon picking up anything will mean Red Arrows getting into relegation as zone as their goal difference is not better than of Buildcon.

Bwezani spoke to Club insider at Red Arrows to find out his thoughts on the poor run.

“It has been a disappointing period considering the performances we produced. We lost two points against Nkwazi and three today. When you are 1-1 and you are a big team, you have to win the game and if anything do not lose. We need to wake up soonest or we get into relegation zone.” Said the source

I asked how this bad run would affect the team

“I don’t know how this will affect us. As long as we do not lose belief, we will be OK but the problem is we are finding it difficult to score. I don’t know how damaging it will be but the table is very disappointing.” He concluded.

While most would see a pattern developing, Honor Janza should insist the poor run is not a factor and he will turn things around soon. I hope this happens soon.  You have to give Nchanga Rangers credit. They are a good team, they did not give up and Nashi Kaya took his chance very well when Red Arrows thought they were destined for a point.

Red Arrows faces Green Eagles in week 10.
