Isebania FC lost their second home match this time to an experienced Nairobi Stima in one of the NSL fame staged at the Awendo stadium

The home side missed several chances with Ismail Mohammed missing from the spot. John Njoroge second half goal was the difference as the Kenya Power sponsored team registered three points

After the match Isebania coach said he was happy with the boys despite the loss and promised to register their first league win very soon

” We played as a team, created more chances and even after conceding we fought to the last whistle. I would like to congratulate an experienced Stima side, they played well n took their chance and at the same time say kudos to my boys for a game well played and no reason to panic, that maiden win is coming sooner”

Isebania got promoted to the second tier after typing Zone B of Division one and have registered only a draw since the league began

They had to shift their home ground to Awendo as their KRA grounds at the border is undergoing renovations and facelift by the County government

The coach said they will work hard to get three points in their next match and thanked their fans who travelled all the way from Isebania to cheer the team. He also thanked the awendo residents who came in large numbers to offer support

“I came here to cheer the team, it is from the county and we miss such matches, I will still continue to come ” one fan named Okwiri said

Meanwhile Sony Sugar will today play Thika United in their second Home match in the KPL,.Sony lost to Cheekily at home before registering victory over Sofapaka
