FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking for the month of July are out.

Kenya’s Harambee Stars have gone two places down to position 88 while Uganda, the highest ranked East African nation has moved up four places to a new high of 65.

Stars were among the biggest gainers in June moving a whopping 43 places up to position 86.

The two teams were inactive in July but are expected to clash in a friendly on August 30 in Kampala ahead of the AFCON 2017 qualifiers last round in early September.

Rwanda’s downward trend has persisted, moving 10 places to the negative to 121st. Tanzania has also gone down a step to 124th.

Burundi and Ethiopia have all gained two places up each to positions 123rd and 130 respectively. Sudan are up one place to position 141 while neighbors South Sudan remain static at 153rd.
