The name Kabugo Savio rings a bell in most ears of football lovers in Uganda mostly for his calmness, command and game reading prowess.

The defender on Tuesday made his debut for his mother club Proline FC in the Azam Ugandan Premier League against Police FC at Kavumba grounds and was so happy after the match.

In an exclusive interview with Soka25east.com, the former SC Victoria University, KCCA FC and URA FC defender said;

“I feel so happy playing for my mother club Proline FC and I believe with the available squad we shall achieve our objectives. We have been unlucky not to win on my debut but I am contented with team work, and the coaches around. I know goals will come in our next matches. I thank the Proline FC management for giving me this opportunity to work with them again and I am sure they will help me achieve my goals.”

Kabugo rose to fame after scoring the winning goal for Uganda Cranes against Ghana at Namboole Stadium in the 2014 AFCON qualifiers.
