Kaizer Chiefs have learnt the dates when their appeal for a transfer ban imposed by FIFA will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Chiefs have confrimed on their website that their ‘appeal against the transfer ban is set for 8-9 September, 2020.’
FIFA has found that the signing of Andriamirado ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana in August 2018 flaunted the FIFA’s transfer regulations.
‘Subsequently, Kaizer Chiefs appealed against the ruling and will get a chance to prove otherwise through the appeal process.
FIFA imposed the transfer ban following a complaint by Dax’s former Malagasy club Fosa Juniors.
Despite the transfer ban, Amakhosi have been blistering form in the currently suspended 2019/20 season.
The Soweto giants are current log leaders of the Absa Premiership 4 points ahead of rivals Memlodi Sundowns.
