Kenya National U-20 team coach  John Kamau has named his squad that leaves today to take on South Africa in an international friendly on Saturday November 26,2016 in Johannesburg.

Stars’ squad is made of local based players, with five of the 18 coming from Kenya Premier League sides, while others come from nationwide league clubs and secondary schools.

Free State Stars defender Joseph Okumu, is not in the squad, but Peter Kamau, who plays for little known football academy Acakoro is in.

Strikers Francis Muturi and Ochieng Ovella have also been included for the game which will take place in the South African city of J’burg.

The Squad:

Goalkeepers: Edwin Mukolwe (AFC Leopards), Ahmed Musa (Bandari Youth)

Defenders: Baraka Badi, Collins Okumu (Thika United), Ezekiel Nyati (Passenga Secondary), David Owino (Laiser Hill).

Midfielders: Amos Nondi (Gor Mahia), John Macharia, Ovella Ochieng’, Vincent Wasambo (Kariobangi Sharks), Musa Masika (Laiser Hill), James Mazembe (Kakamega High), Teddy Osok(Nairobi Stima), Bernard Ouma (Acakoro), Anthony Wambani (Bandari FC), Francis Muturi (Thika United U20),

Forwards: Jafari Owiti (Chemelil Sugar), Peter Kamau (Acakoro).
