Kenya: Amos Wakili Tournament hots up as battle rages for Semi final slots


The Amos Wakili tournament took centre stage over the weekend in Nairobi with teams battling in the quarter finals.

Kenafric Fresh dispatched St.John FC on post match penalties after the game ended in a barrel draw while Baba Dogo were too good for Lucky Summer drubbing them 2-0 to qualify for the semi finals in the prestigious tournament.

Korogocho Youth are scheduled to clash with Baba Dogo United Senior while Kenafric Rubber FC face off with Mbotela Kamaliza next week in quarter final matches that will see the winners book  semi final slots as the tournament gets to its penultimate stage with exciting fixtures lined up.

The grand final is scheduled for December 20th where winners will be rewarded.



QUARTER FINAL 1&2 Results played Saturday 21st and Sunday 22 as below:

21.11.15 St. John FC (0) vs Kenafric Fresh FC (0) full time. Kenafric Fresh FC won (3-0) on post match penalties.

22.11.15 Baba Dogo United FC (2) vs Lucky Summer FC (0) full time.

29.11.15-Sun1500hrs Kenafric Rubber FC vs Mbotela Kamaliza FC
