Kenya battle Ghana in Accra it will be a ding dong battle

Kenya and Ghana will do battle for top spot in 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group F at Accra Sports Stadium in Accra on Saturday evening.

The two nations have already booked their place at this year’s tournament in Egypt, following a qualifying campaign that included the disqualification of Sierra Leone.

Kenya currently top the group with seven points from three fixtures, a place and point above second placed Ghana and six points clear of Ethiopia who were effectively eliminated from qualification contention following a 2-0 defeat to the Black Stars in November.

Jordan Ayew bagged a brace for the West African’s in Addis Ababa as they sealed their spot at an eighth AFCON tournament in succession.

The Harambee Stars will only participate in their sixth AFCON tournament later this year, and their first since featuring at the 2004 showpiece hosted in Tunisia.

Kenya beat Ghana 1-0 in Nairobi last year thanks to an own goal from Nicholas Opoku in the first-half of the match.
