Ghana have fallen six places in the latest edition of the FIFA ranking released on Thursday.

Placed 45th in August, the Black Stars find themselves on 51st on the global rankings.

This can be attributed to their 1-0 slim defeat to the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers early this month.

On the continent level – Ghana still locked on the 6th spot.

The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia still head the table (23rd) world log sheet, the Teranga Lions of Senegal (25th) – lie second, the Leopards of Congo DR (40th) – occupy the third spot, the Atlas Lions of Morocco (45th) – sit fourth and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon (50th) hold the – fifth position.

France lead the pack on the global table, Belgium, occupy second, followed by Brazil, Croatia, Uruguay, England, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain, Denmark in that sequence.

Ghana will play against Sierra Leone on October 10 in the next 2019 Afcon qualifiers.

The next edition of the ranking will be published on October 25.
