The Kenya National U-20 team are set to play two friendly matches against the U20 team of Senegal on February 10 and 12,2017 in Dakar,Senegal.

According to Football Kenya Federation(FKF) CEO Robert Muthomi, the friendlies are part of  federations grand master plan to build a future senior national team as well as fostering football development at junior level.

“We have formulated a policy that will ensure all our junior national teams play two matches in all international friendlies that they partake,” said FKF CEO Robert Muthomi.

“We believe the move will provide an opportunity for the whole squad to not only experience international matches but also learn vital aspects of the game that are key to their future football development,” explained the CEO.

The team consists of 26 youngsters who are supposed to report to camp at Safaricom Stadium,Kasarani on Thursday February 2, 2017 at 10am

Notable call-ups include Qatar based midfielder Messi Agege who plays for Aspire Academy, Peter Kamau of Acakoro Academy and Abdikhaliq Elgoma who turns for Al-Hilal Wanjir FC.
