Kenyan Premier League Confirmed Transfer Deals

By Bonface Osano,
The Kenyan Premier League June transfer window that has been characterized by low key activity is entering week three with more rumors than sealed deals. With just a total of 14 confirmed deals in the KPL records thus far, only Enock Agwanda and Patrick Oboya’s moves to Gor Mahia and Nakuru All Stars respectively have left tongues wagging, the league is yet to witness any big money moves worth writing home about.
Agwanda who was a free agent penned a two year deal the reigning KPL champions and a deal he termed a dream come true, the well build striker was previously with Kenya Cup holders SOFAPAKA SC, while Oboya who mutually parted ways with the ten times champions Tusker FC will link up with strugglers Nakuru All Stars as they seek to battle out of the relegation zone when the league resumes from the mid season break.
“We have finished the negotiations and he (Oboya) has agreed to come in and help us in our relegation battle for the rest of the 2015 season.” All Stars CEO Robert Muthomi stated.
