KPL leaders Gor Mahia failed to extend their gap when they were thumped 1-0 by Mathare United in their match played on Saturday. The lone goal sent Kimanzi’s charges at position 15 on log with 30 points moving further from the relegation area.

Sofapaka 2-1 Bandari

Second on log Sofapaka were among the reapers in the weekend when they bagged all three points in their away match pitting Bandari Fc. The coast side were first to score but Sofapaka added to their woes when they beat them two goals in the second half.

Tusker 4-0 Muhoroni Youth

KPL defending champions Tusker Fc humiliated relegation threatened Muhoroni Youth beating them 4-0 to move to top three. Goals from Mike Khamati, Allan Wanga and Humphrey Mieno ensured that the brewers stayed on course in the whole match. The loss prompted Muhoroni Youth coach George Maina to resign from his duties.

Nakumatt 2-1 Kakamega Homeboyz

Nakumatt were back to winning ways when they stunned Kakamega
Homeboyz 2-1. Both goals came from Kepha Aswani who is in contention for the golden boot in the end of the season while Homeboyz lone goal was scored by Wcliffe Opondo.

Western Stima 1-1 Thika United

Western Stima who are also in the relagation area managed a point when they held Thika United in their match on Sunday. Robert Achema scored through a penalty to share spoils with Thika who scored first through Eugene Mukangula.

Kariobangi Sharks 2-2 Chemelil Sugar

On form newbies Kariobangi Sharks came from two goals down to hold Chemelil Sugar in their match played on Saturday. A brace from Masoud ensured that the Kanu charges salvaged a point to keep them seventh on log with 42 points.

AFC Leopards 0-2 Posta Rangers

Posta Rangers were back to winning ways when they beat AFC 2-0 to lift their tally to 43 points; scores coming from Joakins Atudo and Dennis Mukaisi.
