Kenya’s senior women’s national team “Harambee Starlets” will take on their Zambian counterparts in a friendly at Arthur Davies Stadium, Kitwe, Zambia on 25th March 2018.

Starlets will use the tie to gauge themselves ahead of their 2018 AWCON qualifying match versus neighbors Uganda early April.

“We believe the Zambia friendly will give us the much needed opportunity to gauge ourselves ahead of our AWCON qualifiers against Uganda,” Richard Kanyi, the Starlets’ coach said.

The team is sharpening in Machakos, in the Eastern part of Kenya in time for the two-legged encounter against the Crested Cranes of Uganda.

Kenya hosts the first leg on 4th April 2018 at Machakos’ Kenyatta Stadium with the return leg coming three days later in Kampala.
