KPL-2015: Kiongera last penalty denies Mathare a win

Mathare United continued their run of draws as they managed to hold Kcb a 2
all draw at city Stadium in the Tusker Premier League this afternoon.

Pual mugai kiongera grabbed a brace as Murua and Noah Abich got the goal
for Mathare united in an entertaining match.
The bankers were handed an early lead by the kenyan International
forward Mungai Kiongera and club top scorers in the 22nd minute through a
well taken freekick which flew past mathere goalkeeper peter Odhiambo.

The 2008 league champions piled pressure to throughout the match which
payed off in the 42 minutes when when Daniel Mwaura produce a moment
of brilliance to level the mather with a stunning goal from outside
the box before the teams went for a brether.

Mathare continued where they left off in the first half puting the
bankers on the back foot,which resulted to a free kick outside the
box which was curled in the Noah Abich to take a 2-1 lead.

Kiongera got his brace from the spot in the 73th minute after Noah Abich was judged to have handhold the ball inside the box which kiongera step in to cool barry it past the tall mathere goalkeeper to level the matter.
