KPL: Muhoroni Youth release former Gor Mahia defender

Muhoroni Youth has terminated services of former Western Stima and Gor Mahia defender Kevin Oluoch.

Speaking to Soka25east.com, Youth Chief Executive Officer ( CEO ) James Orundu confirmed that indeed Oluoch is nolonger within their ranks, due to the player’s inability to honor performance contract he signed with the club.

Oluoch signed for Muhoroni Youth from Gor Mahia in the June tranfer window in a big money move worth Kshs 200,000 sign on fee but he has not been able to play due a nagging injury he failed to declare from onset.

The player is believed to have picked the knee injury early this year while playing for Gor Mahia in CAF Champions League away to AC Leopards of Congo Brazzaville but did not get proper treatment.

Meanwhile all is set for Muhoroni Youth KPL match against Mathare United later today in Muhoroni.

The team has been camping at undisclosed location as they focus their energies on a strong finish in the league – the Paul Nkata coached side is currently 5th on the log with 36 points from 25 fixtures, they target third spot finish.
