KPL WEEK 22 PREVIEW: Ulinzi hopes to pile pressure at the top

KPL WEEK 22 PREVIEW: Ulinzi hopes to pile pressure at the top

By Evans Oduor,

Sony Sugar v Ulinzi Stars (Awendo Green Stadium, 3pm).

Ulinzi coach Robert Matano has publicly stated they are on course to
surpass their performance of last season and are tackling each match
at a time. Six points adrift of league leader Gor Mahia, make no
mistake, Ulinzi will have thoughts of winning the 2015 title at the
back of their minds.

Having survived a bad scare in their last match against Nakuru All
Stars, soldiers Ulinzi Stars are expected to apply extra caution
against the unpredictable Sony Sugar.

The departure of former coach Zedekiah Otieno and appointment of
Salim Babu as standby coach, has seem to bring back some life into the
team because Sony have beaten Leopards and Stima, and have the
potential to contain the tough soldiers.

It is to close to call , but Ulinzi, who picked four points off Sony
last season start as slight favourites.
