Gor Mahia have continued to strengthen their team ahead of busy 2018 season by roping in three more players.

Ulinzi Stars on the other hand have replaced coach Benjamin Nyagweso with former Kenya international Duston Nyaudo.

Gor, who are the reigning Kenyan Premier League Champions have signed Eliud Ekadeli Lokuwam from Kenyatta University on a four-year deal.

The striker hails from the larger Turkana region and was a core part of Ulinzi Stars’ junior team that won the KPL U20 Championship early this year.

K’Ogalo have also landed the services of attacking midfielder Steve Okiro Onyango aka Deco from Bidco United on a three-year-deal.

In anticipation of a possible exit of Kenneth Muguna to KF Tirana, Gor have moved sign highly rated Nzoia Sugar midfielder Lawrance Juma in another three-year-deal.

This brings to five the number of new confirmed faces at the 16 times KPL Champions, who will be representing the country in the African Champions League next year.

Others are Ivorian striker Ephrem Guikan from AS Port Louis in Mauritious and Kevin “Ade” Omondi who is making a return from Kenya Police F.C.

Gor are also close to signing Ulinzi Stars striker Samuel Onyango and are eyeing a Ghanaian midfielder who is believed to one of the top targets of coach Dylan Kerr.

The soldiers have announced “redeployment” of coach Benjamin Nyangweso to other “military duties” with former Harambee Stars, Gor and Ulinzi player Dunston Nyaudo replacing him on an interim basis.

Nyangweso replaced the current AFC Leopards coach Robert Matano who was ailing – guiding them to a 7th spot finish in the 2017 KPL.

The Slam Boys have announced the signing of goalkeeper Job Ochieng’ on a four-year contract from their youth ranks.

“Job Ochieng’ is our first signing of the December-January transfer window. He put pen to paper on a four year deal after being promoted to the senior team.

“The custodian has been a key player for the junior team and he joins Lennox Ogutu, Martin Ongori, Ahmed Ahmad, John Mwangi, David Owino, Andrew Juma and Musa Oundo as youngsters who recently joined the senior team through the junior side,” the club said.
