Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy (KYSA)  were in red hot form as they dispatched fellow FAZ Division One outfit  Zesco Victoria Falls 2-0 in a Preliminary fixture of the 2016 Barclays  Cup at Sunset Stadium today Sunday, 11 September 2016.

Striker Nicodemus Kabungo struck 2 second half goals to give KYSA a dream date with Premier League side Nkana in the quarterfinals to be played next weekend.

The teams went into the break deadlocked at 0-0 but it was the team from Kabwe who came charging at their opponents in the second stanza.

Nicodemus Kabungo opened the scoring in the  47th minute and added another in the 74th minute to leave the Zesco goalkeeper  Joseph Tembo with a red face.

Zesco Victoria Falls didn’t have any response to KYSA’s attacking prowess and didn’t trouble their opponents despite having renouned forward Nicholas Mulilo in their ranks.

The win pits KYSA against Zambia’s 12 times Champions Nkana in the Quarterfinals to be played between 17th and 18 September.
