Leone Stars of Sierra Leone arrive in Khartoum for Sudan Afcon clash

 Leone stars of Sierra Leone landed safely in Khartoum on Tuesday morning ahead of their weekend clash against The Falcons of Jediane  Sudan in the ongoing African cup of nations qualifier.

The match will be staged at the 35000 seater Khartoum sports stadium on Sunday.

The  26 man team  comprised 16 local based players and 10 officials.Four foreign based players led by John kamara  Moustapha Bangura, Mohammed “medo” Kamara,Umaru Bangura are expected to join the rest of the team in Khartoum .

They will however miss the services of four players Alhassan Kamara,Khalifa Jabbie, Solomon Zombo Morris and David Simbo due to injury and suspension.

Midfielder John Kamara is hopeful of a positive result from the encounter.

“we’re going into the match with our game plan and proper mindset. We have our own parts to play. We have the experience going forward and we can handle the pressure. The atmosphere is good at the camp and confidence is high he said.”

The match will be played on Sunday at 20:00 EAT
