Former Zambia U-20 and Senior National team coach, George Lwandamina is wishful of the very best to the the young Chipolopolo ahead of the 2017 U-20 Africa Cup of the Nations.

Lwandamina, now coach of a Tanzania top tier side, Young Africa, exclusively told soka25east.com that he can only wish the young Chipolopolo the very best.

“I can only wish them the best of luck.”, said Lwandamina.

He added “They have what it takes to be the Champions. They should just believe. We will be there with them in spirit”.

George Lwandamina, commonly known by the name ” Chicken” drilled the Zambian junior’s Golden generation–that reached the quarterfinals of the 2007 U-20 FIFA World Cup in Canada.

The class of 2007 had notable names, as Rainford Kalaba, Nyambe Mulenga and Jacob Banda.

The larger number from the class of 2007, were part of the Chipolopolo fold, that won the 2012 Africa Cup of the Nations in Gabon.

Zambia were drawn in Group A of the Total U-20 Africa Cup of the Nations which gets underway on Sunday, 26th February.
