Proline FC picked only a point from Lweza in the Azam Uganda Premier League, playing out to a goalless draw at the Muteesa I Stadium Wankulukuku on Friday evening.

Being at home, Lweza settled in first and dominated possession for close to 15 minutes before the visitors got into it.

Sempa, Sebuyira and Muruli had the best chances of a physical first half for the hosts while the visitors came close to snatching the lead thrice through Mandela Isaigi and Ssenkatuka.

Said in goal proline produced a number of fine saves two in the first half and one in the second half while his counterpart had only one.

Substitutes, mbaziira and okiror breathed a new lease of life into proline but they where unable to find the break through against the hosts who had also brought fresh legs forwards in kikoyo and kisakye; who kept proline defence very busy towards the end of the ninth.

With the draw, Proline FC remained in 6th position with 27points while Lweza remained in 13th position with 21 points.

In other matches played on the evening,

URA FC 2-0 SOANA FC (Kagaba Nicholas, Diego Hamis)

JMC Hippos 0-1 Sadolin Paints FC (Norman Ojik)

Police FC 0-1 BUL FC (Robert Anchema)

Action continues on Saturday evening with SC.Villa taking on Onduparaka FC at Masaka Recreational Grounds.
