Kenyan International Ayub Masika, netted once as Lierse SK edged HO Leuven 3-2 in round 10 of the 2016-17 Belgium Division B.

Masika, 24-years, has not only been outstanding for Lierse this season, but found the back of the net on a couple of occasions. He grabbed a brace against Lommel United, few weeks ago.

Lierse, traveled to Leuven consciously that victory would push them joint leaders with Antwerp and they just delivered when it mattered most.

Belgian defender, Ludovic Buysens headed home from corner, 13 minutes into the game, before league leading scorer Dylan De Belder stretched Lierse’s lead to 2-0.

The Kenyan winger, Masika scored Lierse’s final goal, with only 9 minutes before halftime break.

In the second half, Leuven came strongly as Yannick Gaby Loemba pulled one goal in the 66th minute.

Then, it took so long for Leuven to add their second goal, and it came in the dying minutes of the game–in additional minutes, courtesy of Esteban Casagolda Collazo.
