Mayuka scores in Zamalek’s shock loss at El Entaq El Harby

Zambian international  Emmanuel Mayuka scored his second goal for Zamalek but his goal that restored a first half parity did not help Zamalek as they lost 3-1 at the Petrosport stadium in Cairo.

The host drew first blood in the 16th minute before the Zambian goal poacher who has rediscovered his form drew level ten minutes later for a 1-1 half time score line.

On resumption  El Entaq  had Louay Badri sent off in the first minute of the second half after picking a second yellow card. salah Amin extended the hosts lead in the 71st minute before Mahmoud Fathallah scored the third via the spot beyond reach of Zamalek. 

The loss is a set back for Zamalek who had hoped to keep pressure on leaders AL Ahly. AL Masri crushed ENPPI 4-0 to moved to within six points of leaders AL Ahly who are top on 44 points and two points behind second placed Zamalek.
