Mbeya derby highlights Round 3 of the Vodacom Premier league

The Tanzanian Premier league enters the third round this weekend with a total of four clashes on Saturday and another four on Sunday.

Round three however is witnessing a key derby at the southern City of Mbeya where Mbeya City will lock horns with Tanzania Prisons at the Sokoine Stadium.Such a much last season witnessed fans engaging each other in fights with the army setting in to rescue the situation.

 

On Saturday high riding MajiMaji will travel to Tanga to face Mgambo JKT at the Mkwakwani stadium putting in mind that victory will send them to 9 points out of 9.

At the Kambarage Stadium in Shinyanga Stand United will entertain African Sports  while Yanga will be at home battling JKT Ruvu at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

On Sunday at the Mwadui Complex in Shinyanga,Miners Mwadui FC will play hosts to money bags Azam FC  who are still camping in the province  after beating Stand United in the midweek.

Mtibwa Sugar from Morogoro will entertain Ndanda FC from Mtwara in Morogoro while Coastal Union would like to redeem themselves at their backyard when they confront Mwanza side Toto African.

Sumba SC will battle Kagera Sugar at the National Stadium in Dar to complete round 3.
