Gor Mahia secured a slim 1-0 win over Chemelil Sugar in a match day 24 rescheduled Kenyan Premier League (KPL) fixture played at the Afraha Stadium on Thursday 16 August.Gor  Mahia are now 5 Points Away From Lifting Their 17th Title.

After a resilient display to repel every wave of attack from K’Ogalo, Chemelil’s resolute defence finally caved in with 13 minutes left on the clock as substitute Eliud Lokuwam scored the decisive goal.

The win came with a negative tone to it for Dylan Kerr’s charges as striker Ephrem Guikan was stretchered off right before half time after a nasty collision with Chemelil keeper Richard Aimo.
