ZESCO United 1-1 Mufulira Wanderers

Rahin Osman scored his second goal of the season for Mufulira Wanderers as Mighty led early in the first half. The last time Rahim scored was in Lumwana in another draw that ended 2-2.

ZESCO equalized through Jackson Were and that was the 12th of the season for Were who leads the pack on top scorers chart.

A draw is not good for ZESCO United who were hoping to reduce the gap with legue leaders ZANACO. ZESCO are now7 points behind the leaders and have now one game in hand against Nakambala Leopards.

Mufulira Wanderers maintains 12th position but add one point from the 18 they have to end the day on 19 points.

This is the second point the Portuguese Coach will get in the two games he has been in charge but unfortunately he wont want to remember this one after he was sent to the stands by the referee.

Reports of poor officiating of games continued as soccer fans from both camps (ZESCO and MUFULIRA WANDERERS) who watched the game have sjown displeasure on the way the game was handled.

We now have 275 goals scored in the Super League in 152 games and 3 goals offered to Lumwana Radiants in the Boardroom .

Mufulira Wanderers will take a short trip back to Mufulira to prepare a home encounter against Forest Rangers on Friday while ZESCO United will be engaging ASEC MIMOSAS on Saturday.
