Clifton Miheso made his debut for the Lamontville Golden Arrows , but was unable to find the net as his team booked a place in the pre-season Uthukela Mayoral  Cup finals after a 1-0 victory over Free State Stars on Sunday morning.

The Kenyan International started the match and was subsituted in the second half having displayed great football skills impressing Coach Clinton Larsen.Miheso challenged for multiple balls in the air, but was not whistled for  fouls indicating how good he is to earn a starting role.

A new signing Wayde Jooste got the only goal of the game.Other new recruits who played include Lerato Lamola,  Limbikani Mzava.

Vuyani Ntanga and Lee Langeveldt were also introduced in the second half as Golden Arrows had much of the play.

Golden Arrows are now playing the local Uthukela Municipality side in the final.Free State Stars played for the bronze medal against Ukhahlambo with Stars winning 3-0.
