Report – Former Kenyan premier league champions AFC Leopards are chasing the signature Ugandan midfielder Mugisha “Nesta” Steven.

Ingwe as Leopards are fondly referred to recently acquired the services of Briton Stewart Hall as head coach.

The team is currently 12th on the log with four rounds to the end the 2017 season, and they are already looking to beef up their midfield ahead of the upcoming season.

The former Sports Club Victoria University and Entebbe Young midfielder nearly joined another Kenyan side Muhoroni youth in August 2016, but was held back by his club Police FC who refused to release him.

However, he is now a free agent after being handed release letter by Police FC.

Incase he joins the Leopards, he will be the third Ugandan along side Allan Kateregga and Ramathan Yakubu.
