After guiding her new side South Western Oklahoma State University to US Conference 2016 Championship, Uganda’s Crested Cranes net buster Sandra Nabweteme last evening walked home with two accolades at the Great American Conference Awards in USA.

Nabweteme, a former Kawempe Muslim Secondary School student, and FUFA elite women football league top scorer, won the Fresh man player of the year award, as well as, the first team all conference forward accolade.

She put up a great performance for her side South western Oklahoma State University in the just concluded season.

After the end of the ceremony, she dedicated her awards to different people who have seen her through her career, including FUFA president Eng. Moses Magogo, her mother Nabukeera, media houses and personalities most notably Ahmed Marsha the FUFA head of communications, among others.
