NC Match Day 3 Wrap: Asante Kotoko demolish Eleven Wonders as Ashanti Gold hold Aduana Stars

Asante Kotoko returned to winning ways as they walloped Eleven Wonders 3-0 at the Nkoranza Children’s Park on Sunday afternoon. A 23rd and 33rd minute goals from Abdul Fatawu Safiu added to Evans Owusu’s 60th minute goal helped the Porcupine Warriors claim win in Techiman.

Ashanti Gold held Aduana Stars to a pulsating 0-0 drawn game at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa Ahenkro.

Elsewhere, Kofi Agbemasi pierced the hearts of Berekum Chelsea with an 87th minute strike to give Bechem United 1-0 win at the Golden City Park.

Liberty Professionals achieved back-to-back wins after they beat Inter Allies 2-1 at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman. Elvis Kyei Baffour and Simon Zibo scored for the host in the 12th and 70th minute while Effiong Nsungusi Jnr got the consolation for the visitors in the 67th minute.

In other games, Hearts of Oak succumbed to their second straight away defeats in four days after they were beaten 1-0 by Karela United Football Club at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Aiyinase. Solomon Taylor scored a minute to halftime to hand the Homers victory.

Razak Kromwell’s 80th minute goal earned Dreams FC all three points and their first win of the competition against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

Elmina Sharks were left disappointed as they drew 0-0 with West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) at the Nduom Sports Complex.

Medeama SC vs Wa All Stars now Stallions FC has been postponed.
