Serbian Nebojsa Vucicevic is on the verge of taking over at Ethiopian Premier League outfit Ethiopian Coffee as Head Coach.

Nebojsa jetted into the country on Thursday to complete the move, and take over from fellow countryman Dragan Popadic, who left the club at the end of the 2015/16 season after finishing second behind St. George.

The 54-year old former midfielder, is making a return to Africa after previously taking charge of Ghana’s Heart of Oak from 2011-12.

He stint with the Phobians ended prematurely March 2012 after a string of poor shows which saw fans call for his head, with the management heeding their cries.

When confirmed, the former OFK Beograd and Partizan player will become the second foreign Coach to steer the Ethiopian side in it’s 41 years history.
